What inspired you to start your business?
We started our business, knowing we wanted to bring more elevated, personalized & embroidered gifts to our Kansas City community and beyond.
What is the meaning behind your business’s name?
“Mere Fille” means mother + daughter in French & that’s what we are— A mother + daughter duo!
What is your go-to gift from your business?
For a new baby: our bubble blanket, quilted sleep sack & a burp cloth
Hostess gift: fringe cocktail napkins
What is the most memorable gift you’ve ever received?
My mother in law gifted me monogrammed dinner napkins from Leontine Linens, where I got to work with one of their artisans to create our monogram. Such a special gift and napkins I will cherish forever!
What is your word of advice to someone wanting to start their own business?
